The American Veterans Mission is pleased to announce its partnership with the Central Texas MOAA on their September 2021 Colonel Jack Oliver Central Texas MOAA ROTC Scholarship Golf Tournament.
Central Texas/Fort Hood MOAA holds this event annually to raise funds for local high school and college students who plan to attend a Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) at the university of their choice. Scholarship awards are based on academic excellence, citizenship, character, and leadership skills.
American Veterans Mission’s Chief Executive Officer, Anthony V. Martinez, also wants to thank the Central Texas MOAA officers and staff for inviting him on their September luncheon to listen to Dr. Matt Phillips, M.D., on cardiovascular health and obesity. A shout out to Club Beyond representatives, Hope Mango & Suzann Mayfield, for briefing us about their organization, which also serves the communities of Fort Hood and Central Texas.
Community partnership is the lifeblood of the American Veterans Mission. Partnering and working with legitimate and impactful organizations such as the Central Texas MOAA and The Mission Continues – Killeen motivate our board of directors to conduct, without coercion or reservation, their (1) duty of care to always work in the best interests of our organization, (2) a duty of loyalty to put the good of the organization first to avoid conflicts of interests, and (3) a duty of obedience to be faithful to the central goals and governing documents of American Veterans Mission.
